" Come Watson, The Game is Afoot ! " the detective would say and so would start another adventure of Sherlock Holmes.
The famous detective based on Dr Joseph Bell, a medical lecturer at the University of Edinburgh Medical School who amazed his students with his skill of deduction while making diagnosis of patients.
One of these students beign Arthur Conan Doyle.
Bell make a lasting impression on Doyle.
For many years later during a period when Doyle had little or not patients coming in and hence money; Doyle would turn to writing to try and earn the latter, he started a novel called " A Study in Scarlet ".
The main characters being of course, a Dr John Watson, a returned medical doctor who return back to England to due to be injured while serving in the Afghan Wars and younger man called Sherlock Holmes.
Some of the traits and appearances of Doyle's former professor would take form in the holmes such as his deductive skills of course as well as his apparant emotional coldness, as well physical attribites as the long hawk like nose.
